Goings On | most popular how to posts of the year

Happy New Year and welcome to 2013! Are you excited about what's in store, or are you hiding under a blanket somewhere, trying to ride out the festivities from last night?

In any case, what better way to see in the new year then to take a look back at some of the most popular tutorials and how to posts of 2012 (which also counts as best posts ever, since Randomly Happy is still only a few months old).

Thanks to Liz at Cotton & Curls, this post on restyling vintage leather into a clutch bag was the most popular post ever. Woop woop!

And did you see these tutorials on making your own maxi skirt and taking in a pleated skirt? They were also really popular (are skirts the new black? I'm thinking they might be). And apparently I'm always finding something interesting to look at, just over my shoulder...
Also incredibly popular (and quite rightly too) were the Take One Trend posts. All thanks to the talented ladies from all around the world, who put their own restyling spin on their favourite trends. Thanks again to Allie at Meadow Rue, Leigh at Laughing Latte, Lotts from Lotts and Lots, and Hanna from Pearls and Scissors. Serious restyling envy!
