I'm feeling all sorts of happy and want to share the love by giving away my new favourite... a word charm necklace. Something similar to one you can spot here. Made up with any word of your choosing.

Just let me know what word you would want to drape around your neck (though please, let's try to keep it to 10 letters or less - these babies can get quite tricky). You could go for anything... the name of a loved one. Your nickname. Or maybe your favourite word of all time (mine's barbabietola - Italian for beetroot).
Leave your answer in the comment box, or on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook. I don't mind how you tell me (just don't forget to leave me a way to reach you).
Entries open until midnight (GMT) on the 21st of February and are open to international readers too.
Happy trails!
I've always wanted a name necklace like Carry had in Sex and the City. I guess I'm old enough to have my own necklace now ;).
ReplyDeleteOh this is so pretty! I'd love to have a 'create' necklace if I were to win :-)
ReplyDeleteah cool! I think a name necklace would be pretty fun or maybe just a positive affirmative: yes! - although i think an exclamation mark might be pushing it :) I'd have to pick one of favourite words if i won: nebula

Love all these ideas. Call me lame, but what does nebula mean?

What a great idea!! My word of the year is "direction" which I can't see around my neck right now but being as it's my word I guess I need to own it!!!!! opuswsk@aol.com and @biggreenpen on Twitter. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I would get 'Ohana' is it Hawaiian for Family (Lilo and Stitch quote 'family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten) and is a big 'thing' between my and my little sister (she has the tattoo)

My word of the year is Learn, so not sure if that would work as a necklace! I love the idea of Create, though!
ReplyDeleteHi El,
ReplyDeleteI was going to enter with "pterodactyl" but I realise it's 11 letters long.
Darn it!

DeleteWhat a lovely giveaway! I would love to win! I pick the workd 'rainbow' to match my blog :) You can contact me at wrappedupinrainbows@gmail.com :)
ReplyDeleteOoo! I love this! I would love my nickname "Yelle"! I have my formal name, "Danielle" it was a gift when I was younger. But I think my nickname would be so perfect in this wire because it looks more "me" and so much morelike what would be on my blog! yelleevents(@)gmail.com It's gorgeous! I hope I win!
ReplyDeleteI want one! So tricky to choose a word... I think I'll go with "anchor". It reminds me of my favourite poem and of my favourite person and of my favourite place in the world. I think that's pretty good going for one little word.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite word is Serendipity. But I could also wear "Joy" around my neck (and easier for you). I hope I'm lucky this time. My email is poppiesandicecream@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteOr my nickname, "Diux".
DeleteOh man, so much pressure! I feel like I'll pick a word and then regret it later when i think of the perfect one.. Had to sit here and think for a while. I think "wanderlust" would be good although it is a little long! sorry..

My word is "Lucky"

Oooooh how pretty! I'd go for Rebecca because it's my name...duh...and also because I have a little twisted sliver metal sign that says Rebecca that I got when I was a wee tot.
