So let’s talk about our insides for minute.

Not our deep and meaningful insides, but the insides of our makes 😉

Can I just ask – are yours usually as unpretty and tangled as mine?

You know those people that proudly show off the insides of their makes because they’re as beautiful (or even more beautiful) as the outside. Those clever sewers. Well, that’s just not me.

I’m embarrassed to show anyone the inside of my makes. Sadly, I’m just too lazy to move beyond anything other than a simple overlocker finish at the moment, so anything to jazz up my insides are a happy little addition to my sewing bag of tricks.

Which is why I was really happy when The Dutch Label Shop asked me to work with them. I’ve heard some really good things about their labels (Melissa even gave me one of her labels to try at the Sewing Weekender) and was keen to take them for a spin. You know, put them through their paces.

I chose to design my own woven logo labels using my blog’s logo image (because, why not, right?). But I kept the rest simple, using a really simple standard iron-on label.

I love how these bright and cheerful labels add a colourful splash to my otherwise quite monochromatic wardrobe. It’s like a hidden party in my clothes.

To be honest, I’m really looking forward to saying goodbye to winter. It’s been grey and dull and tedious around here the last few months. I’m really looking forward to some sun and cheery, springtime colours to perk me up.

I’ve made my own labels before, but I love the quickness of iron-on labels. They’re so quick. Instant, no-fuss prettier insides.

What’s not to love, right?

The customer service was ah-mazing too. I had some back and forth with the customer service team to make sure the label colours matched my logo (I’d definitely recommend the option to check the finished label with the photo proof option).

Annnnnd Dutch Label are offering all Randomly Happy readers a 15% off using code ‘happyblog‘ until the 3rd of April so you can score yourself a great set for yourself.

I only ever share products and people I think you’ll like as much as I do (because sharing is caring). The labels were kindly provided by Dutch Label (they’re nice like that). All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

I adore those labels!!! DLS is definitely getting some business from me in the next month… I have to ask, what blogging platform do you use? I assume it’s not free (or is it?). I’m researching ways to design and publish a blog and any advice/information is appreciated!

It’s a great finishing touch. I had some standard ones made a while ago but they are pretty boring. You’ve inspired me to design my own.
