Guys, I am officially in love with this new top (the one you had a sneaky peak of in my post on Lewes).
I love how simple it is and how easy it was to make. Literally it only took a lazy hour one afternoon. Including the sassy little pocket I threw in there, just for funsies.
I’ve been dreaming of a sweet little eyelet top for ages. It’s great to finally have one to call my own (shame the summer’s almost over though!). The fabric is so delicious – a vintage French eyelet fabric from Blue Zinnia Vintage. She hasn’t paid me to say so, but she was a real treat to deal with – so if you’re thinking of getting some vintage fabric definitely check her out.
I promise you, once you’ve whipped up one of these bad boys on the sewing machine, you’ll be hooked. I know I am – I plan on making a few more in different fabrics.
So have I convinced you that these are the bees knees? The most awesome-nest of tops? Or do you think you’ll sit this one out?
