Perfect gift guide for sewers

Holiday Gift Guide for sewers

I love finding little useful and beautiful treasures to give people, don’t you? All the better if they’re handmade, stylish or vintage.

Having been a bit unwell over the weekend I spent some quality time with the internet, looking for treasures. And with so many people embracing sewing, I thought it might be nice to highlight some of the  handmade, stylish, and vintage goodies out there for sewers.

So the list. I thought stylish thread cutters and a sweet pincushion would make any sewer pretty darn happy. While this handy little handmade pouch could keep all those little bits and bobs in one handy spot. And can we just talk about the awesome-ness of these two vintage goodies? A 1930s tape measurer and a ceramic, fox-head thread and scissors holder. Serious vintage envy.

Well now, that’s as far as I got, but I bet it could be made better. And since I’m always on the look out for new treasures… I’d love to hear your ideas. What sewing goodies would you want to add to the list? And have you been buying sewing supplies as gifts?

One / mini pouch | Two / thread cutters | Three / snowy pincushion | Four / vintage tape measurer | Five / vintage fox thread and scissors holder

I'm not sure what I'd add to the list but I'd happily take them all! 🙂

Oh how lovely! The Mr gifted me a sewing machine last Christmas and I have had so much fun learning how to use it this year. I think I might have to add that snowy pincushion to my wishlist for Christmas. xx. McKenna Lou
