Let’s make a chic DIY dress

How To Sew | 7 steps to a chic DIY dress

It’s time people. We’ve made a skirt, sewn up a t-shirt andΒ now it’s time to tackle another project. Something easy, something that’ll work all summer, something that won’t take too long to make.

So, let’s make a dress. Let’s make it with soft fabric, a cinched in waist, and make it sleeveless. It’ll be great!

We’ll start next week and over the next 7 Tuesdays we’ll go through all you need to know to make your own sleeveless dress. Even if you’re a beginner. I’ll take you from a novice to a ninja (you know the drill by now).

I really want to make this BUT I hate sleeveless – could you maybe do a bit at the end on how to add sleeves? xx

I will definitely give it a go… but sleeves are my curent nemesis, so can't be too sure how great they'll be πŸ™‚

Hello Elena! I just found your blog and I'm thrilled I did. I used to sew a bit but now that I got me a new sewing machine I think I'm ready to tackle on some serious projects πŸ˜‰

In other words… I'd love to follow along. Might just jump in at the very last minute but that's how things are.

Thank you for your efforts in advance πŸ™‚

I'm joining! I need to get some more practice sewing. I have to many designs that are going to waste just looking nice in a drawing book. This will be a fun project.
